UNPACKING THE PARABLE Notes:

One of my favorite ways to share the Gospel of Jesus the Christ is to imagine JESUS standing in front of the spiritual dimension literal REAL GATE (Himself being the “door” or “gate”) to another dimension: THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IN THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSION – John 10:1-10 – Revelation 2:7; Matthew 7:13-14; Matthew 7:21-23; Genesis 3:24).

I mean there was Jesus … just standing around in a “human-suit” just like all the rest … but holding a “secret” MYSTERY inside of Him from His own Spirit of God that none of them had a clue about … until He came from Heaven to explain it through the power of God’s Spirit.

Ok, maybe they did have some prophetic warnings and “heads up” prophetic messages to “get ready” to RECEIVE the King of Heaven. But as Jesus said, “‘For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see; and that those who see may become blind.’ Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, ‘We are not blind too, are we?’ Jesus said to them, ‘If you were blind, you would have no sin, but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.'” (John 9:39-41).

It turns out those who think they can “see” without God’s provision THROUGH THE PROPHESIED “CHRIST” or “MESSIAH” to “provide” for their “sin” Problem for them (see Matthew 19:16-26) … turns out THEY are “blind as bats” as it relates to being able to “see” and “hear” Jesus’ Gospel let alone RECEIVE His Way Out of all their Problems.

In fact, I believe we ALL have our own “blind spots” that Jesus the Light from Heaven is still helping us to overcome with the Help of His Spirit even TODAY and RIGHT NOW (John 16:7-15; 1 John 2:26-27; 1 Corinthians 2:12).

In John 10 He started sharing a bit of how He views HisStory in the midst of a “blind” world.

He shared about His view of those people throughout HisStory trying to some how and some way “get into” Heaven on their own without His Way Out provided (“God will provide” or “Jehovah Jireh” – Genesis 22:1-18; Matthew 1:1-25) by Himself.

Did you know that He called them all “robbers and thiefs” trying to break into His Kingdom WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION “first place in everything” (John 10:1-10)? AMAZING!!!

In John 3:3-12 Jesus shared the great mystery of anyone needing to be spiritually “born again” “to enter the kingdom of heaven”. How many “Christians” (let alone non-believers) do you know who have written off that “born again” requirement as if it was some Christian Charismatic “doctrine” made up by hyper-spiritual crazy Christians … not realizing IT CAME FROM JESUS recorded in John 3:3-12?

How about the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:21-23 that has Him NOT ALLOWING people to enter His Kingdom of Heaven who are calling Him “Lord, Lord,” and doing things in His name like “prophesy” or “cast out demons” or “perform many miracles”? Matthew 7:21-23 is arguably the SCARIEST message from God in the entire Bible from my view as someone who also calls Jesus, “Lord, Lord,” …”

All you need to read is the awesome words of Jesus in the Bible to find His foundational truths required in “the Gospel” for all who believe and RECEIVE His words of “eternal life” from His Holy Spirit (Mark 1:14-15; John 18:34-37).

I can picture in my minds-eye (mysteriously connected to “the eyes of your heart” Paul believed in and try to explain in Ephesians 1:17-18) … I can picture Jesus STANDING AT THIS ANCIENT GATE with those Angels standing with Him also from the invisible dimension of His Kingdom of Heaven.

I “see” those Angelic beings that He once GAVE HIS ORIGINAL ORDER “in the paradise of God” “TO GUARD THE WAY TO THE TREE OF LIFE” with “the flaming sword which turned every direction, to guard the way to the tree of life” in Genesis 3:24.

There is no doubt in my mind and heart that this is the one and the same “door” to the “Paradise of God” and the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus claimed to be in charge of and nobody else. I believe EVERYONE will one day find out for themselves who Jesus really is when they too try to “get into” His Kingdom of Heaven.

Let me continue what I “see” as I read my Bible record from His original disciples.

I find Jesus sharing HIS John 10 GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM and multitudes of OTHER precious truths about His Kingdom of Heaven Gospel that we are blessed to have recorded by Jesus’ disciples throughout the New Testament part of the Bible.

I recommend reading it all, but let’s jump forward to receive Jesus’ words in Revelation 2:7 and His Gospel Truth Promise: “To Him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.”

With those words, Jesus’ Gospel brings us FULL CIRCLE from Genesis 3:24 where “the paradise of God” was lost … back to the “paradise of God” FOUND or restored by the King of Heaven.

I encourage you to RECEIVE or “soak in”  all of the wonderful promises that this mysterious “tree of life” TRULY MEANS from His own D1 and D2 Worldview of “all truth” (John 3:12; 1 John 2:26-27).

For example, what if that “flaming sword which turned every direction, to guard the way to the tree of life” was actually THE WORDS OF THE KING of Heaven who ALONE lets people IN and OUT of His “door” to His Kingdom (Matthew 7:21-27; John 3:3-12)? The “words of God” are often depicted by an analogy of a “sword”.
